Custom Fit Golf Clubs

BP's Custom Golf Clubs sells both component and custom fit clubs. The difference is that the component clubs only aim to save you money over the off the shelf store bought clubs. Custom fit clubs are made from the same components but are tailored to your game.

Custom fit golf clubs are nothing new. Golf professionals always play custom fit golf clubs even though they are name brand clubs. The clubs that Tiger Woods and friends play are not even close to the clubs sitting on the store shelf. Their clubs have been modified and tweaked to perform with that players specific swing characteristics. The advantage to a custom fit club versus an off the shelf product lies in the fact that no two golfers have exactly the same swing or physical specifications. Club specifications such as Loft, Lie, Length, Flex, Torque, Swingweight, and Grip Size are all items that will vary from one golfer to another. The off the shelf (aka OEM) club is built to play well for the "average" golfer. The company decides upon what they consider "average" and then build the clubs with length, flex, etc. to perform for that "average" golfer. If you happen to fit into their "average" mold then you are going to think they are the greatest thing since the introduction of the metal wood. If you do not fit neatly into their mold then you will be left wondering why you paid hundreds if not thousands of dollars and can't hit the ball.
